Kenmore 17602 70 Cu Ft Chest Freezer Review

This photo is very misleading, there is NO interior light!

I finally did it! Ever since we bought our home 2 and a half years ago I accept been dreaming of the day we would purchase a deep freezer! Since my ice cream maker is chronically in my freezer taking upward a ton of space, I have had to keep what is in there to a minimum. Non anymore!!!!

My biggest outcome was where was I going to buy the deep freezer? I live out in the boonies, my hubby had some time off and I wanted to make getting one as simple as possible. I knew where the Sears was in Halifax and so I called them up and asked them about this particular Kenmore Chest Freezer. The adult female on the phone was very friendly and helpful and made sure there was one waiting for me when I arrived. Perfect!

I could non figure out from the measurements on their site just how large the freezer would be, I had to see it in person. Tah dah!!!! There information technology is. It is exactly the size I wanted it to be. Bigger than the mini freezer where the interior infinite is taken up by the motor. Smaller than the behemothic ones that have upward a whole room. Love it!

Well it barely fit in our SUV but it did! My husband and a nice guy at Sears gently put it in the back of our SUV and saved united states of america $60 in commitment fees. Yeah! We got it dwelling, careful got it downstairs and into our laundry room…

I wanted to weep. In that location was a dent in the hat, damn information technology! There was no way we were going all that way back in to town. I ran to the telephone and chosen Sears. They said I had to phone call their head office tomorrow, the club was likewise new and not in the organisation yet. Bloody hell. Fine. At that place was no way nosotros were taking information technology dorsum ourselves so my hubby got it out of the box.

This is a very uncomplicated unit. You plug it in and leave information technology. This is not the outset time I have had quality command issues with this visitor (long story), I do not like the fact that their photo is misleading (this unit does not have an interior lite) and even though they creatively solved the trouble information technology took a long time to resolve. The box was non dented so obviously the product got dented while in the warehouse and then boxed. I know it is not a huge deal, it is cosmetic, only I spent close to $350 on this deep freeze and it tainted the whole experience for me and concluded up costing me tons of time on the phone and waiting around for people to come and take care of it.
